Knowledge is becoming more and more important. Shorter production cycles, higher expectations from clients and growing competition demand higher expectations on the management of knowledge in an organization. Employees themselves must be aware of the general availability of knowledge. The accessibility of knowledge becomes greater as this is adapted to a structured manner, developed and spread by the people who have the knowledge available.

The organisation of knowledge is a condition for a good disclosure. With Infoware it is possible to classify all knowledge items into several levels. Keywords can be assigned, so that these items are approachable from different positions. For specific searches, a search engine is available, according to so calls 'full text search' principle. Like the disclosure of information, the reporting of new or actualized knowledge items is also very important ('push' and 'pull' principle). Infoware has an system to which employees can subscribe to for specific sections. When a new document occurs in one specific section, all employess receive an e-mail with a link to this Infoware document. Also, Infoware has a powerful RSS-function.
